#100HappyDays: Day 7

#100HappyDays: Day 7

Today I was lucky enough to have the whole day off with Josh and the kids. I wish we coulda had the step kids here too, but they were in school. We will make sure to have plenty of adventures this summer. But, back to my day. We started the day off right: sleeping in as late as the kids and dog let us and then lazying around the house as we relaxed. After our late night with the concert last night, it was wonderful to do nothing. As the day wore on, I received a Zulily order in the mail and Josh even got his Graze box. Plus, the weather seemed fantastic outside. I decided that thrift shopping sounded like a good idea, so we packed up the kids and headed out. We hit three different stores, Idaho Youth Ranch, St. Vincent DePaul and Savers. At the IYR the kids turned in their reader challenge for a free book and toy. They picked up a new list to fill in as well. Won’t be long, these kids are bookworms. We ended up with some pretty awesome finds, and the day went awesome. For dinner we went to Carl’s Jr. so Zander could run off the energy he had built up being patient inside the stores. He climbed all the way to the top by himself for the first time ever!!!!! And now, here I am. Counting so many blessings that I have in my life, and posting my blogs about them.
